Tender was the
night
Took an early
flight
Rushing' home
tonight
Somethin' wasn't
right
I can't believe
my eyes
I know I must be
dreamin'
Did I come home
too late, too soon
You in his arms
told me the truth
Too late, too
soon
I wish I would
have known
I wouldn't have
left you all alone
Temptation led
you wrong
Tell me how long
has this been going on
Cause I thought
our love was strong
I guess I must
be dreaming
Did I come home
too late, too son
You in his arms
told me the truth
Too late, too
soon
What was I
supposed to do
You had to see
it for yourself
Cause I thought
our love was strong
I guess I must
be dreamin'
Repeat Chorus
It's not your
body
It's all in your
style
Your warm and
gentle personality
Is so beautiful
darlin'
Prayed for a
perfect love then I met you
Sent as an angel
to make my life new
God made the
heavens and placed them above
But he left some
here on earth
Heaven is you
You make me feel
so good
Heaven is you
Every little
thing you do
Hold me tight in
your arms
Everything feels
alright
And when you
look into my eyes and say
I'm gonna love
you till the day I die
I know that this
is heaven
Ask me the
question I can't tell a lie
Cause your love
to me is pure and paradise
Take me right
now I'm yours anytime
Cause you're my
happiness
You're my heaven
From that first
hello
Though you never
asked for it
You took hold of
my soul
And what you and
I don't know
Destiny has
brought
Inside our
hearts and lives
And if there
ever was a doubt
Not to believe
That some things
are meant to be
Cause no matter
how far
Or where you are
I feel you here
As close as my
mind can see you
A vision of
tenderness and love
For us to share
I thought I
would regret it
Then I thought I
could forget
The times we
shared together
But I never
thought I'd care for you baby
I never really
thought it'd come to this
And if there
ever was a doubt
Not to believe
That some things
are meant to be
Cause no matter
how far
Or where you are
I feel you here
As close as my
mind can see you
A vision of
tenderness and love
For us to share
I believe that
we were meant to be
Get Me Over You ( Jon
Secada, Miguel A.Morejon, Diane Warren)
|

|
Sketches and
edges of pictures so perfect
Haunt my memory
And girl I still
weep
Cause I keep you
within
I'm so sorry I
let you go
Lovers forever a
phrase I remember
Now seems so
unkind
The world that I
knew,
Is the world
that is now
Somewhere lost
in time, somewhere lost in time
(If I could find
a way
Make you wanna
stay)
Share my life
with you
(I don't know
how,
Guess I'll make
it somehow, baby)
Maybe I'll get
through
But what is it
gonna take?
To get me over
you
Tears mixed with
fears
Contradictions
arise
Ramble through
my mind
That all the
things that I've been looking for
I will never
find, I will never find
(If I could find
a way
Make you wanna
stay)
Share my life
with you
(I don't know
how,
Guess I'll make
it somehow, baby)
Maybe I'll get
through
But what is it
gonna take?
To get me over
you
Ah, ah, ah, ah,
ah, ah, yeah, yeah
What is it gonna
take, what is it gonna take?
Ah, ah, ah, ah,
ah, ah, yeah, yeah
What is it gonna
take?
To get me over
you
Repeat Chorus
It's Enough ( Jon
Secada, Miguel A.Morejon)
|

|
Out of sight
then out of mind
It's not as easy
as I expected
Is the reality I
find
And it's sad to
hear it
And it's sad to
talk about it
Cause baby I
still need you
Feel the need to
hold you
Baby I still
care
It's enough to
know
That I'm always
gonna love you
All my life
And to let you
go
It's enough to
say goodbye
What I wanted,
what I want
Are simply not
the same things
But it's too
late to turn back time
Still I want to
tell you
That I'll always
be right here for you
No matter where
you go
No matter what
you do
It's enough to
know
That I'm always
gonna love you
All my life
And to let you
go
It's enough to
say goodbye
Ready For Love (Jon

Moments,
comments
Then one thing
that you said
Did it again
Turned our world
upside down again
I surprised you
I surprised
myself
Is this what we
need
I don't wanna
stop
(I can do this,
I am ready I know I can do this)
I don't really
wanna stop this
(I can love you
like no other, I can)
Ready for love I
feel fine
I feel just fine
Ready for love
Rebounded,
founded
What I hope is
missing in me
I'll admit this
is new to me
Did I catch you
at a bad time
Do I ask too
much.
I don't wanna
stop
(I can do this,
I am ready I know I can do this)
I don't really
wanna stop this
(I can love you
like no other, I can)
Ready for love I
feel fine
I feel just fine
Ready for love
I surprised you
I surprised
myself
Is this what we
need
I don't wanna
stop
(I can do this,
I am ready I know I can do this)
I don't really
wanna stop this
(I can love you
like no other, I can)
I feel fine
(ready for love)
I feel just fine
(Ready for love)
I Live For You ( Jon
Secada, Miguel A.Morejon)

The sunrise
within
That leads to
nowhere
Sometimes I feel
that way
But my heart is
filled
With you inside
When I feel your
presence
In my mind
I live for you
Stay with me
forever
Didn't meant to
leave you waiting
And so you've
heard
A vow of love
becomes a promise
So here's my
promise,
I'll always love
you
Moments in time
With empty
feelings
Seems there's
nowhere I could hide
And then I found
you to make me strong
Now I belong to
you
I live for you
Stay with me
forever
Didn't mean to
leave you waiting
And so you've
heard
A vow becomes a
promise
So here's my
promise
I'll always love
you
Deep in my soul
I had to choose
Well now you
know the truth
I live for you
Stay with me
forever
Didn't mean to
leave you waiting
And so you've
heard
A vow becomes a
promise
So here's my
promise
I'll always love
you
Who Will Take Care Of Me ( Jon
Secada, Miguel A.Morejon)
|

|
Who will take
care of me
When you are
gone away
I will have
nothing left
But your memory
And I wish that
we could say
The things we
want to say when we are far, so far
Away, dear
I don't want
anything without you
Night comes, the
night is here
My thoughts are
clear now
But, who will
take care of me
When you are
gone away
You took away my
fears
The tears are
gone now
But who will
take care of me
When you are
gone away
After All Is Said And Done (Jon
Secada, James Harris III, James Wright, Terry Lewis)
|

|
Can you forgive
me
Just take me
back
I promise to be
a man of honor
Is there still a
chance
That we can find
tomorrow
Forget the
sorrow
Live for today
Cause
yesterday's come and gone
Now I know
better
I hope you can
stand a little stormy weather.
Chorus
After all is
said and done
Through all the
heartache
Through all the
fun
You are the only
one
I'll ever love
And I'll work
hard to make you see
There's still a
chance girl if you believe
You are the only
one I'll ever love
Don't walk away
baby... please
I'm begging you
I'm down on my
knees
I know I hurt
you
But I know you
know
I never will
desert you baby
Different
strokes for different folks
Your love means
the most
Yes, I'm your
man
Love you the
best I can
Again and again
and again
Repeat Chorus
Forever (Is As Long As It Lasts)
( Jon
Secada, James Harris III, Terry Lewis)
|

|
I want to love
you 'til forever comes
I want to give
you everything under the sun
One day at a
time
I'll share with
you my life
And our forever
ends the day we say goodbye
Cause forever is
as long as it lasts
Don't wait 'til
tomorrow let's enjoy today
The promise we
made forever may just fade away
So one day at a
time
Appreciate my
love
And our forever
ends if we should ever say goodbye
Cause forever is
as long as it lasts
And no matter
where you go
No matter what
you do
The love we
share right now will always be a part of you
Cause forever is
as long as it lasts
I'm yours
forever
(Forever is as
long as it lasts)
(Never say
never)
(Forever is as
long as it lasts)
Let's stay
together
(Forever is as
long as it lasts)
It only gets
better
As long as we
can make it last
One day at a
time
I'll share with
you my life
And our forever
ends the day we say goodbye
No matter where
you go
No matter what
we do
The love we
share right now will always be a part of you
Cause forever is
as long as it lasts

Llegue sin
avisar
No te quise
despertar
Pero al entrar
Presenti algo en
mi alma
No intentes
explicar
Mis ojos no me
enganan
Amandolo te vi,
porque
Nunca sabras
Lo que
Senti
Cuando te vi
Amandolo
A quien yo culpo
ahora
Si te deje tan
sola
Ese fue mi gran
error
Hace cuanto
tiempo que
Te estoy
perdiendo
Jure por nuestro
amor
Crei que eras
mas fuerte
Amandolo
Te vi,
Porque
Nunca sabras
Lo que
Senti
Cuando te vi
Amandolo,
amandolo, baby
Dime que debo
hacer
Y no lo pude
creer
Verte asi con el
Jure por nuestro
amor
Crei que eras
mas fuerte
Amandolo
Te vi
Porque
Nunca sabras
Lo que
Senti
Cuando te vi
Amandolo

This is my idea
about this album :
Reason of changing his record label from EMI to Sony was this album.
Advertisement for this album was very bad. There were only 2 singles for this
album. "Too Late, Too Soon-Dance Remix" was only successful in dance
charts, and "Believe" was released only in some Latin countries. Some CD shops gave "I will always remember" CD free for those who bought
"Secada".
Anyway songs were cool, he did some of his songs with Jimmy Jam (Janet Jackson's
producers) and again with Diane Warren and Miguel Morejon.
"Too Late, Too Soon", "It's Enough", "Get Me Over You" are my favorites.

An article
from
:
Despite a couple of bland
tracks and an overlong running time, Secada is a fine return to English-language
adult-contemporary pop by Jon Secada. While the songs aren't always distinctive,
Secada's voice is clear, pure and lovely, making even the weakest songs
tolerable. Only a handful of songs are first-rate — including the single
"Too Late, Too Soon" — but the record is pleasant and makes for fine
background music.
