   Now all of Jon Secada 's huge fans know that his last album-"Better Part Of Me"-was released about 10 months ago. I think that it is his best album of ever. When you listen to this album you will understand that he had really worked on this one. One of  My favorites songs in this album is "Better Part Of Me", I don't know why he hasn't released the single of this one yet. All of us were happy when he went to work with Sony music, but I believe that this company didn't help and advertise him. Why do Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony's song show in every music channels a lot, but this doesn't happen to Jon?!!!!

We, the fans, have to support him. Tell your friends to buy the album and demand his singles in TV, Radio.

  *Anyway the latest news that I have is that "Asi" was nominated for best dance song in Billboard Latin music awards, but the award went to Enrique Iglesias.

He worked on these albums too:

- After Ricky Martin's "Sound Loaded", now Jon produced Martin's Spanish greatest hits album;" La  Historia-2001".

- Another production for another new greatest hits album of  Jon's old friend . Yes, Gloria Estefan released her "Greatest Hits Vol.2-(1993-2001)". He produced and arranged vocals of this album.

  First of all ,thanks a lot for those people who visited this site. It seems that some pages had some problems with Netscape and AOL navigators. I solved this problem and I hope that you can view this site with every kind of navigators. If you see any other problem, please tell me. I am trying to add some other cool parts in this fan site. Thanks to Babak Javadi who helped me.

  Anyway  thanks a lot to Willy who sent me these good news of  Jon :

  Jon has just finished a new Christmas Album that features two of Willy Perez Feria original songs co-written with Jon and Rachel Perry. It's a nostalgic album recorded with a full orchestra just like Nat King Cole would have done it in the '50's. It must be some thing like "Amor" I guess. After that Jon will start his new Spanish album. I will  try to let you know more about details.

  - Hi Everyone!!! Sorry for my delay during this month. I was very busy with my job and collecting some good and new things about Jon Secada. Well, now you can find about 30 new pictures of Jon, I'm sure that you will like it. See Gallery 12 and 13.

-Anyway , what is news of him? Jon worked on Mandy Moore album as song writer, producer, vocal arranger. Her Album was released in June19 and the name of the album is "Mandy Moore". I listened to samples of this album in her web site and it was cool . Good luck Mandy!!!

-Jon worked on "Jaci Velasquez : Mi Corazon". He was one of the four song writer of "Lo Que Nunca Cambiaria", and vocal arranger. It was released in May 1.

  -Another News is about Jon and his old friends ;Gloria and Emilio Estefan :

-Songwriters Hall of Fame inductees and Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award winners Gloria and Emilio Estefan accepted their award from singer Jon Secada at the 32nd annual Songwriters Hall of Fame awards ceremony in Manhattan June 14, 2001.	-Gloria Estefan and Jon Secada sang together during the finale of the 32nd annual awards induction by the Songwriters Hall of Fame in Manhattan June 14, 2001. Gloria, along with her husband Emilio Estefan, were recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award. Wow!! That must be a great duet.

*  This time I have lots of good news for you and a surprise !!! :

1- GOOD NEWS!!! JON SECADA IS COMING BACK WITH HIS NEW ALBUM. "Yesterday's Christmas" is the name of his new album which was recorded with a great orchestra (like "Amor"). This album will be released in October!!! So we can listen to his new songs in next month ,if there won't be any delay. WE CAN'T WAIT FOR IT. Here is another Grammy for Jon if Sony and fans support him.

    Willy Perez Feria (song writer of "Time Heals", "Me Enganaste", and " Me Without You") worked on this album too, He co-wrote two songs named "When I Miss You Most" and "The Only Christmas Gift I Want". He is one the most talented song writers and I am sure that these songs should be the best ones. I will alert you with more details...

  2- Also Jon is picking songs for his new Spanish language album.

1- I am sure all of you know that Latin Grammy awards became canceled because of terrorism attacks. All the people around the world became so sad for victims. Anyway because of this happening; top singers are trying to record a nice CD as a tribute to victims. Jon Secada, Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias ,... appeared in this album which was produced by Emilio Estefan . Jon sang "The Last Goodbye" ,which was performed live in Regis and Kelly (Sep. 26). This album will be released on Monday 9 October.

2- As you know October 4 is Jon's birthday . We are going to have a party in that day. First of all request your Jon's favorite song. I will choose three songs of the most requested . My other plan is to inviting you for having chat in my Chat Room. I will set an hour with you all. Be online...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JON !!!

  I am happy that I can celebrate Jon's birthday in my site. First of all I want to thank some friends who really helped me during these months for having the better part of Jon Secada with my site :

I am trying my best with full of energy for this site and the result is about 250 photos , online weekly songs, news,...

Now here are some news during last week :

1- Jon Secada sang a new song during the half time show at Pro Player Stadium in Miami Sunday Sept. 23. Secada and producer Emilio Estefan Jr. wrote the song "Last Goodbye" in tribute to those that died during the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington DC on Sept. 11th.

 1- The name of Jon's Christmas Album and release date have changed. Currently, the name being kicked around is "The Gift" (Its first name was "Yesterday's Christmas") and the release date is November 20 - 25. Listen fans if I alert you with some another changes for this album, It is not my fault!!! But I think that this time it is fixed.

I told you about 2 songs that Willy Perez Feria co-wrote with Jon. One of them is "WHEN I MISS YOU MOST" ,which will be the single from the album. Since it deals with missing someone terribly during Christmas, it will be very heartfelt and tasteful to release the song in light of the events of September 11, 2001.

These are all news that I have heard about the new album.

All the proceeds from the sale of this song will be donated to the American Red Cross and the United Way, to assist the families of the thousand of victims from the September 11th terrorist attack.

The CD of "El Ultimo Adios" will be distributed through Univision Network's Internet site, Univision.com, Epicrecords.com, and in record stores.

    1- First of all, it seems that finally the name of Jon's Christmas album  became fixed to "The Gift" and it will be released on November 20. I searched it in different sites and became more sure about that.

2- Now some news about "El Ultimo Adios/The Last Goodbye" :

 3-  Hey, Jon is working for another song like "The Last Goodbye", but this time is with other great singers. Michael Jackson invited Jon and others for joining to his charity single "What More Can I Give" for September 11 relief efforts. These are other great singers for this song :Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Tom Petty, Carlos Santana, Shakira, Usher, Julio Iglesias, Reba McEntire, Luther Vandross, Brian McKnight, Aaron Carter, Billy Gilman, Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman, Alejandro Sanz, Christian Castro, Olga Tañón, Juan Gabriel, Luis Miguel, Thalía, Ziggy Marley and 3LW.

"What More Can I Give" will be released in both English and Spanish versions. I hope that Jon would do the Spanish part. It was unclear which artists will appear on which one. Jackson penned the song and is producing the English version, while KC Porter is overseeing production of the Spanish rendition. A release date has not been announced.

Jackson has been flying to studios around the country to record with the stars, according to his publicist. Santana recorded his guitar part in San Francisco with Porter last week, while other sessions have taken place in New York and Los Angeles.

    1- As you all know , Jon's new album should be out today. All of the stores announced the release date Nov.20, so I hope that everything will go fine. Actually both of the albums are wonderful.

    2- Ok, now some news : Jon is continuing his tour and he will be in concert at the Beacon Theater (New York, NY) on  
December 4 (Tuesday) with lots of great vocalists: Tony Bennet, Diana Krall, Barry Manilow and Carol King. Jon is making an appearance in Macys Heral Square in NYC, he's going to be in the Christmas Shop, signing copies of his new Xmas CD. Wow, good or NY fans!!! Don't miss it.

And here is a summary of  Jon's Mohegan sun casino concert :

Fans lined up at 11 am to get in to see the show. the venue only holds 350 seats-'cabaret type seating'. Jon sang for about an hour and a half. people up front, old and young, were dancing throughout the show. Jon sang songs from his self-titled triple
platinum debut CD -' Jon  Secada', songs from his latest release 'better part of me' and cover songs -one from earth wind and fire-'do you remember'.

He seemed to enjoy the crowd, and jumped down into the crowd at one point. he also brought someone up on stage to sing to. Instead of taking the usual young female fan, Jon brought up an older 'grandmother' to the stage and it was touching. he interacted with the fans throughout the show. Songs included 'believe', 'stop', 'just another day', 'speak to the wind', 'Papi'.

He included a special tribute to Gloria and Emilio (who incidentally snuck into the show unobtrusively right before the show started). he sang 'coming out of the dark', 'I see your smile' and 'she's out of my life' which Ricky Martin recorded, but Jon wrote. backstage Jon was charming and humble. he said the dry, cold weather was bothering his throat and joked that they were not used to it. Members of his band were playing the following night with Gloria and went over to rehearse in the arena after his Saturday night show.  By Janet Mayer.

    1- Jon Secada, Marc Anthony, Alejandro Sanz, and Carlos Vives are among the artists who will perform at Hispanos Unidos Por New York ("Hispanics United for New York"), a Latin music benefit concert in New York. Set for Dec. 9 at Madison Square Garden, the event is being organized by Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS), and will benefit relief efforts for victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and those who died in the recent crash of Dominican Republic-bound Flight 587.

Emilio Estefan will serve as musical coordinator for the show. Other confirmed performers are Jose Jose, Olga Tanon, Alejandra Guzman, Charlie Zaa, Carlos Ponce and Ruben Blades. Actor/comedian John Leguizamo will also appear.

Others who have been invited to perform include Juan Luis Guerra, Alejandro Fernandez, Marco Antonio Solis, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Jose Feliciano, and Jose Luis Rodriguez.

Tickets, ranging from $63.60 to $103.50, are already on sale via Ticket master. Also VIP tickets go on sale Friday, November 30th at 1:00 Pm at the Garden box office. Thanks to Johnny and Gordon for main info.
