1- We were all waiting for Jon's pop album, but I got this message on June 25 from Joel Someillan (Latin Grammy award winner), which I am posting you word by word.

I wanted to give you an inside tip on what's going on with Jon. Many
people don't realize that Jon's first love in music is actually
jazz...although he hasn't had much opportunity to showcase it. I just
completed a production of one brand new song which is the first glimpse
of Jon's future. He wrote the song for his two children and it's
titled "
Find Me In Your Dreams". It was done in a beautiful jazz trio
setting and will be released on a compilation album of lullabies that
also features
Phil Collins, Richard Marx, Smokey Robinson, Carlos Ponce and more. The record label is Rendezvous Entertainment.
Their website is http://www.rendezvousmusic.com
The song is absolutely beautiful and is gonna blow away his fans.
Now here's the cool part. This recording has inspired him to do what
he hasn't been able to do before: Record his first all jazz album!
He has asked me to produce it and also has given me permission to
spread the word out to his fans through your website! So by all means,
Behnam, fire away! The album will likely contain about 14 songs...some
brand new, some beautiful jazz standards, and a few surprises with his
past hits. He is VERY excited about this album and we have tentative
recording dates as soon as
July 23, 24, and 25. So this album will be
completed most likely in
August! No word on release dates yet as that
is still being worked out.
So there it is! The first official word and YOU HAVE IT, Behnam!
It's gonna be a landmark album.

Sincerely,
Joel Someillan

* Thanks to Joel, He also told me that Jon's new English pop album is still in producing and maybe it will be also a kind of package including both the Jazz and Pop album.
